Doubts

First, no I have no qualms about doing this exchange year, but I wonder if I've made the right decision relating the country selection. Don't get me wrong, the United States of America surely were great I guess, but because of having friends in the UK I'm more into english pronunciation than the american. Moreover I know lots of especially british idioms and colloquial British which will be a big problem.
Another reason is that I've more friends in Great Britain or New Zealand or Australia than in America and after all the happening I'm not sure if getting in touch with others won't be a huge break-through. I don't wanna have a superficial friendship, because I'm not sure about trusting him/ her, but this will happen...
Mabye this sounds stupid in your ears, but I don't care. This is the truth and I'm afraid I'm my own barrier.

Having friendships means a lot to me and getting new ones is one of my mayor problems right now and the worst is knowing the problem without beeing able to fix it....
